Athens Museums is an independent guide to museums, archaeological sites and tours in Athens. We do not sell tickets ourselves. When you click a "Check availability" or "Book" button on this site, you leave athens-museums.com and land on the booking page of one of our partners, Headout or GetYourGuide, where the actual purchase happens.
This page explains, plainly, how that works and how we make money from it.
1. We earn a commission on bookings
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you book a ticket or tour through one of those links, Headout or GetYourGuide pays us a small commission. This does not change the price you pay: the ticket or tour costs the same whether you book through our link or by going to the partner's site directly.
Commission rates vary by product and partner and are not shown on individual pages, since they change over time and have no effect on what you pay.
2. How this affects what you see on the site
We only link to Headout and GetYourGuide because those are the two booking partners we have a relationship with, not because we have compared every ticket seller in the market. A product that would suit you better might exist elsewhere and simply not appear here.
Where a page has a "guided tour or plain ticket" comparison, or ranks one product above another, the ranking reflects our own judgment of value, reviews and what the ticket includes, not which product pays the highest commission. We do not accept payment to feature a specific museum, tour or ticket, and no operator can pay to be reviewed more favourably.
3. Prices and availability
Prices, ratings and availability shown on this site are a snapshot and can change on the partner's site at any time, including between the moment you see a price here and the moment you check out. The final price and terms (cancellation policy, what is included, entry time) are always the ones shown on the partner's booking page before you pay, not the ones on athens-museums.com.
4. No purchases happen on this site
We never collect payment card details, process a booking, or issue a ticket. Every transaction is completed on Headout's or GetYourGuide's own site, under their own terms and their own customer support. If you need to cancel, change, or get support for a booking, contact the partner you booked with directly, not us.
